About the event
The Annual Squirrel Jam is a day of adventure, community, and support for a great cause. This year, we’re raising funds for Truth In Nature, a Christian-based mentorship program that empowers boys from fatherless or single-parent homes through outdoor experiences and guidance.
Competitors independently hunt squirrels the morning of the event, January 31, 2026 following all local hunting laws on their own or permitted land. They’ll bring their best 12 squirrels to the weigh-in at Moonlight Stables Venue, where trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to top hunters.
The event kicks off at 12:00 PM EST, with doors opening and check-in beginning at the same time. Lunch, featuring BBQ from Zeigler’s, will be served from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM EST, and check-in for the weigh-in competition closes at 2:00 PM EST.
